Job Description:
We are hiring a Database Administrator – Oracle for a hybrid role based in Madison, Wisconsin. This Independent Contractor position requires a professional with strong experience in Oracle Database Tuning, Maintenance, and Security. The ideal candidate will have expertise in relational databases, creating database objects, and ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
Must-Have Requirements:
✅ Database Tuning and Maintenance to ensure the highest level of system availability and performance
✅ Ability to navigate and query relational databases (Oracle) to develop reports
✅ Experience in creating database objects
✅ Strong knowledge of database security and monitoring tools
✅ In-depth knowledge of Oracle, including stored procedures and SQL Tuning
✅ Expertise in Oracle database security, synonyms, roles, and privileges
✅ Experience with Oracle 12C, 19C, and Oracle PL/SQL unit testing
✅ Familiarity with Oracle data dictionary views
